Also created artwork for a series of interpretation panels around the town. Unfortunately not all have been installed yet, and some of those that were have, not properly and have been vandalized. The problem is that in reclaiming derelict land for common public use, the commissioners (County Council) have failed to involve the wider community, or publicize the project effectively.... a bit depressing because Maryport has got so much going for it... some joined up thinking involving the Town Council, Allerdale District and Cumbria County Councils and the Tourism Board could achieve so much.

Still all is not lost by any means.

Also working on artwork for the new Business Centre being built on the site of the old Hornflowa plastics factory.. more on that to follow another day

Above - by the Senhouse Museum, and below vandalized panels alongside and in the river - builders rubble had ben left around the site, so the panel appears to have been used for target practice.

New Business centre under construction...  - roundels will be inset with porcelain tiling.. details another day
