Paul’s blog A Workington WC 27 February 2009 Was asked by <a href="http://www.stevemessam.co.uk">Steve Messam</a> to upload some pics to <a href="http://www.bigartmob.com">Big Art Mob</a>, Channel 4’s web site ‘putting Public Art on the map’. So I started to look some images out. I’d almost forgotten about this project... it was nice to see it again... here’s some pics of another WC commission <i>You Are Here </i>- completed just over two years ago. The ‘new’ Workington Town Public Toilets feature tiled text and image. It was a collaborative project with my friend, poet <a href="http://www.blencogowillow.com/">Robert Drake</a>. He’s also giving a talk this Monday at the <i><a href="http://www.wayswithwords.co.uk/festivals/cumbria-11">Words by the Water </a></i>festival in Keswick.... Anyway here’s some more pics of the loo, before I go to the pub for a drink... I think the Big Art Mob upload will have to wait for another day...
