Was asked by Steve Messam to upload some pics to Big Art Mob, Channel 4’s web site ‘putting Public Art on the map’. So I started to look some images out. I’d almost forgotten about this project... it was nice to see it again... here’s some pics of another WC commission You Are Here - completed just over two years ago. The ‘new’ Workington Town Public Toilets feature tiled text and image. It was a collaborative project with my friend, poet Robert Drake. Robert’s new book A Solitary Trade, The Art and Craft of Dry Stone Walling has just been published. He’s also giving a talk this Monday at the Words by the Water festival in Keswick....
